The Performance Monitoring, Risk Management/Quality team is part of the
Corporate Contract Logistics/Supply Chain Management department. The
team focuses on the analysis and evaluation of international customer projects
in the decentralised organisation to foster growth strategies for contract
logistics. Furthermore, the team also provides information to the board of ma-
nagement in order to support their decision-making activities.

The main responsibility of the Logistics Legal Consultant is to advise our busi-
ness owners and corporate teams on the legal issues in contract logistics. In
particular, it involves supporting the design of customer contracts, LOIs, invest-
ment applications and other key business documents. It also means collabora-
ting with our Risk Management and Controlling department to conduct risk
assessments for our logistics projects worldwide. The successful candidate
will be required to perform on-site audits and reviews. Furthermore, the Logistics Legal Consultant will be involved at the strategic level, offering sup-
port in M&A processes and providing key expertise in planning and budgeting
issues.


Your profile:

The ideal candidate should be a qualified economist or logistics expert with
a legal background and international experience, preferably in logistics
companies.

Desired skills/experience include:

* Several years of professional experience
* Ideally, professional experience in the field of supply chain manage-
ment, contract logistics, warehousing or freight forwarding
* An ability to work independently and efficiently, but also a team player
* Mobility, flexibility and motivation
* Fluent business English (spoken and written) and German
* Other language skills are an added bonus
* IT-skills: MS Office, knowledge of Database,
Business Objects would be an advantage
