Senior Insurance Counsel, Dubai, UAE

Our client, a Middle East based global financial insurance institution is looking for a Senior Insurance Counsel to join its dynamic team in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with outside counsel on insurance related matters.
- Lead all relationships with all external legal counsels and advisors on insurance legal issues.
- Update management on the insurance legal environment in the countries in which the company operates.
- Design and develop policies, procedures and work practices for all insurance legal activities of the company.
- Provide insurance-related advice in connection with the company's mergers, acquisitions or strategic transactions.

Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Business Administration with Finance, ideally CPA/ACCA/ CIMA/ACA.
- At least 7 years of in-depth insurance / takaful legal experience in a leading financial institution, preferably an insurance or Takaful company in the GCC.
